What CrossFit means to me
CrossFit has been in my life for many years, I just did not know it! For over 10 years, I have been training myself to perform better in  sports using functional movements. In June 2012, I started CrossFit and have not looked back  since. I received my Level 1 Coaching Certificate in August 2012.

Since CrossFit has been part of my life, I have found each and every workout a challenge, pushing me physically and mentally. The aspect of CrossFit that I believe is most impactful would be the community.  Every single person pushes themselves to their limit, motivating each other the entire way, and celebrating as a group once the WOD is completed.  It truly is a different experience than I have ever had before!

What CrossFit means to me
I have been involved in CrossFit for over 3 years now. I decided to try it out because I was bored with my current workout routines. The first time   I tried a CrossFit workout, I couldn’t believe how challenging and intense it was. After the workout, I felt a sense of accomplishment and couldn’t wait to challenge myself again!

CrossFit has not only been a challenge physically but even more importantly, the workouts challenge my mind to push past my perceived boundaries allowing for results and breakthroughs to occur. I believe the most gratifying part of CrossFit is the community. We workout together, suffer    together, and celebrate together. Here at CrossFit Miramont, I am thrilled about the opportunity to introduce CrossFit to our members and guests.

What CrossFit means to me
I started CrossFitting to train for hockey during the off-season. After using it as a training regiment for 1 year, I became addicted. Now, CrossFit means making the uncomfortable comfortable, and taking 1 hour out of my day to better myself physically and mentally.

What CrossFit means to me:

I was introduced to CrossFit in 2007 while I was in the Marine Corps. I immediately found it to be an amazing general physical preparedness (GPP) fitness program that could prepare anyone for the unexpected. After 6 years of CrossFit, I believe the most amazing thing about it is the community it creates. I have met the most amazing people that I would never have crossed paths with in life if it weren’t for the CrossFit community. Whether  it be in a CrossFit box, a seminar, or a local competition, the CrossFit community is accepting and supportive of everyone. Ultimately, we all sweat together, bleed together, cry together and laugh together all while sharing the same daily trial-by-fire during the WOD and pushing our own personal boundaries into   uncharted territory we never thought possible. I challenge everyone to give CrossFit a try; you never know, it may change your life!
